I want to give a quick shout out to my fellow CT geekfest members...Good times were had last night night talking SW, having some drinks, and making some trades. Micket, thanks for the free Falcon ornament. You guys are the best! And good luck hunting for the new wave this morning. You'll need it!

Hasbro's answers for the questions submitted on 12/30/08. Enjoy!

1. 8d8 from Jabba’s palace shares a body with BGJ-38. Any chance these two will make it into the build-a-droid line?

ANS. BG-J38 *will* be coming as a buildable droid Factory figure in early 2010.

2. Will you release a new Bantha with less curly hair and > more straight hair this time like it was in the movie? Or how about some more beasts? It’s been a while!

ANS. There are no plans right now to release a new Bantha, although there are a couple new beasts on the way. More information will likely be released at Comic Con, so stay tuned…

3. Any chance we'll see the Tatooine hut from the Lars Homestead available in a pack with no or just one figure, in a closed box someday? I would gladly buy 4 of them if they were in a better package at a better price point.

ANS. We're glad you like it; we agree it's a cool piece. However, we do not have plans to release the hut anywhere outside the Lars Homestead set itself.

Great confirmation on the BG-J38. Once they do that one, the 8D8 seems too easy not to do.

They're already deferring to comic con? Maybe we're better off with the once a month schedule.

I am always pissed by the answers we get from Hasbro. Yeah, it's good news that we are getting some great figures, and new droids in the BAD waves, but we have been asking for some of this stuff for years now, and it is still a year out. Oh, well, leaves me a good question to ask for next time.
