7/10 Bantha Skulls

This figure could be great.  It’s very good.

The sculpt is good.  He looks bad-ass, as he is depicted in the microseries.  It has standard 14 pts of articulation.  This figure could be improved with a bit more articulation, like ball jointed hips, waist, or wrist, but it’s still acceptable.

The removeable helmet is great, the way it fits over Saesee’s horns.  The helmet is attached to a chestpiece, which is decently detailed. The face sculpt is very good, but the paint leaves off some of the detail present in other releases of this character.

I’m not sure why his armor is off-white, but it is accurate to the cartoon.

The lightsaber fits nicely in his hand.  But, along with the helmet, these are the only two accessories that come with the figure.

The figure is missing 2 major items that would make it near perfect.  He has no cape and his skirt is plastic.  The lack of cape seems to be an oversight.  The lack of soft goods for the skirt will make it difficult if not impossible for Saesee to fit into his starfighter, which is too bad.

It’s a decent and neat looking figure, but falls short of being a top-notch offering.  No telling if he’ll ever be revisited, but if he is a strong enough character in the upcoming movie/series and has a new gimmick, you never know.
