This is a surprisingly good figure. The face sculpt is really excellent - one of the best Luke’s I’ve seen, I think. He is naked from the waist up (fortunately he has pants on), and he’s got a lot of articulation. It’s not hidden all that well in the sculpt of a bare human, but he’s supposed to be wearing the robe, so it’s not a big deal. He has ball jointed hips, which is great, but it’s an odd addition to make to this figure, and probably unnecessary. The robe itself fits well. It has a nice texture, and is not too bulky. Since there’s no hood, it doesn’t have that horrible oversized look that most Jedi robes have. the “belt” ties nicely, although I wish it was made of lighter material so the ends could hang more loosely. Luke has the open hatch on his forearm to display the mechanics of his new prosthetic hand. It is permanently open. I suppose it could have been better if there was some way to open and close this feature, but it’s fine as is. It is covered by the robe if you don’t want to look at it. His “wrist” articulation is actually a swivel in the forearm, so the robe does cover all the joints. Luke comes with a lit lightsaber, I guess to add play value, and also some kind of medical probe to..do stuff with. He has one closed fist, so he can only hold one accessory at a time. The medical probe is narrower than the saber hilt, so Luke doesn’t grip it as tightly. Be careful you don’t lose this piece!
Anyway, old character in all-new outfit + great sculpt = I like it.
