I really dig this figure. It’s really a huge improvement over the old POTF2/Expanded Universe version. He’s super articulated, including a ball jointed chest. His paint scheme, while simple, is much more striking than the old figure. It’s white with black trim, and a few silver details, but the simple scheme works on this figure. He’s got a menacing head sculpt. The helmet is huge, and has character. It can move around, but the shape limits it from having a full range of motion. For accessories, he comes with a removeable back pack which fits tightly into slots on his back, and he comes with removeable shoulder armor/pauldrons. Moving the arms/shoulders in excess will probably knock the shoulder armor off, but it is easily replaced via peg hole. This is a hefty and sturdy figure, that stands solidly on his wide boots. He can be made to stand in various cool poses. While he comes with no weapons, he has two forearm guns that are built into his armor. I feel it would have been extra cool if these could snap into his arm to be hidden, but it’s a minor thing.
Hasbro has now done several versions/resculpts of Darktroopers and Spacetroopers. I think this one might be my favorite of the bunch. This is a pretty impressive figure, and I wish I could have multiples, but this one was hard enough to find.
