5/10 Bantha Skulls
So, this figure is.....ok.
I think he looks cool on the shelf. But he’s got very limited articulation. I supposed this is fine considering it’s just a hologram.
He seems to stand well, even without any articulation below the hips, but I would fear warpage could change that.
The sculpt is good. He’s tall and menacing. His arms are interchangeable and work well. His hands grip his weapons well enough.
He comes with 4 holographic lightsabers, which is funny, in case you want to set up a scenario where someone is watching him slaughter a jedi on TV. He comes with his blaster as well. He has no cape, which I feel he should have.
There is no paint, as he is simply cast in translucent blue, so nothing we haven’t seen before - many many times.
He’s really just good for standing on a shelf, which works for me. The best part about this figure, and what keeps it at a respectable 6/10, is that he was free with a $30 purchase at Toys R Us. Can’t really complain about something that’s free, eh?
