Wikipedia article on the Infantry Support Platform (Swamp Speeder)
β€œIt was one of many specialized speeders created towards the end of the Clone Wars and a heavy variant of the BARC speeder. A terrain laser scanner was fitted to the speeder’s underside, allowing clone troopers to scout the environment for any foes. It was notably used during the Battle of Kashyyyk.” – Wookieepedia

*This vehicle made a brief appearance in The Revenge of the Sith...supposedly.

Roundtable Reviews!

This vehicle is neat looking and rumor has it that it even appeared on screen.  For the starfighter vehicle price I can't say that it's a great value.  It's not that big and it doesn't do a hell of a lot.  If I had to compare it to something you already own, I would say it's like the landspeeder on steroids as it's a tad larger and has a little additional play value.  It rolls on wheels and has firing missiles on the front of the vehicle.  The instructions, which only appear on the outside of the box, say to press the button to launch the missiles. I'm still looking for the button. It seems you're meant to lightly push up on the back of the missile to launch it similar to the Destroyer Droids with firing rockets.  As such, there's not a lot of tension on the projectile. Getting them clipped in place takes a little patience as they have a wont to spring back out.  Auto-firing projectiles might be a problem with this vehicle over time.

It seats two clones.  The brevity of the that statement belies the effort it takes to get the clones properly seated.  I recommend sending the wife and kids to the in-laws, taking the phone off the hook and putting on a pot of coffee.  You're going to be there for a while.  Since rumor has it that this vehicle was used at the battle of Kashyyyk, I wanted to equip this vehicle with the Kashyyyk Trooper from the end of the TAC line.  Due to the molded hump in the back of the armor, the figure sits too far forward and exceeds the elasticity of the Swamp Speeder's restraints.  I ended up using the ROTS 41 based Coruscant Clone as the pilot.  Getting the figure seated properly and the restraints reattached was nothing less than a chore.  The reward for getting it done was getting to repeat the process on the other side.  Still once completed, it does look cool.  It's that neat design and novel appearance that makes up for the lacking areas I've mentioned, and is also why the vehicle is worth getting.  You need one.
