5/10 Bantha Skulls

I don’t like the Anakin Figure.  He has full articulation, but the sculpt is just off.  I find the figure to be overly bulky.  Either Anakin gained weight, or he’s wearing cold weather gear.  His face isn’t too great, and the head doesn’t fit on the neck peg very well. It’s loose, but it doesn’t tilt forward/down.  The paint is also a bit off.  It looks like some of his garments are a grayish/blue color, which is weird.  He comes with a lightsaber.  The blade is not removeable, although he does have a peg hole in his belt.  His robe is oversized, but it has some battle damage in it, so Hasbro tried.  It’s not an exciting effort.  Not an exciting character either, and it’s odd that this was released in the same assortment as the Anakin / Assassin Droid repack.

Durge is mostly cool.  Contrary to some early pics, the helmet does fit completely over his face.  Unfortunately, it’s very loose.  If you give it the evil eye, it goes flying off.  His face is creepy.  Having never read the comic, I didn’t know what he looked like, but Hasbro does a good job of matching the comic here.  Articulation is almost excellent.  Lack of knee joints is a huge disappointment.  Otherwise, it’s solid.  His body has great detailing, both in the sculpt and in the paint.  There’s a couple of detachable hoses on his armor.  The holsters fit his large pistols, and his regular hand grips the pistol well.  His ginormous alien claw doesn’t hold anything.  It’s too bad Hasbro didn’t include a swappable hand, because this Durge is VERY scene specific.  He’s big and menacing, so overall, it’s pretty good.  Knees and an extra hand would have made this one a winner.
