More clones. They’re kinda okay to help flesh out your 41st Elite forces in your Kashyyyk display, but I wish Hasbro could just keep the damn camo paint scheme consistent. These figures will blend in with the Commander Faie that came with the Quinlan Vos comic pack. So I guess that’s marginally acceptable.
The weirdest thing about this set is the fact that the clone in traditional Phase II armor is nowhere to be found in the comic book. Frankly, I’m not even really sure which is the commander, and which is the regular clone. I assume the Phase II guy is the commaner, because of the shoulder pauldron. But all Star Corps clones had pauldrons. And Commander Faie from the other comic set was wearing scout armor. I guess what I’m trying to say is, I really don’t know. The only indication is the artwork on the front of the package, which would seem to indicate that the Phase II dude is the commander. Whatever.
The figures are sculpts we’ve seen numerous times. The scout clone comes with a removeable helmet. He’s got a strange fat neck, but the sculpt is a good likeness to the young Jango. They come with a couple of weapons, nothing spectacular.
Anyway, not much new here. If you like camo clones, this set is for you. If you hate camo clones, then stay away from this set.
