Personally – not a fan at all.
Fenn Shysa - in a word: boring. Its’ a kitbash. I’m quite tired of Mandalorians. They lost me after Jango. Pretty much the only one I was even vaguely interested in seeing a figure of was Jodo Kast, and even him, not so much. In any case, this figure itself is actually a pretty good sculpt, with a lot of articulation. I just can’t get over the ridiculous paint scheme, and to me he’s not a compelling character. Plus, although I can tell the difference between the Boba/Jango sculpts used, basically the paint scheme makes this, and his partner Tobbi Dala, look too similar. I’m sure that at some point down the road, I’ll have no idea which is which, and the comic books didn’t help much in this regard.
Dengar is another old sculpt. It’s a pretty good one, except for the lack of knee and ankle articulation. But the purple coloring is absurd. I don’t have much to say about this Dengar that is pleasant.
This duo is junk. The characters are not compelling. The sculpts are not new. The Marvel paint schemes are horrific. I’m in the camp of those collectors that cannot see this gimmick end soon enough. I equate most of these figures to the animated ones from the Clone Wars. They just don’t fit in with the rest of the line. What am I supposed to do with a purple Dengar? Please, Hasbro, for all that is good and holy, STOP with the Marvel colors!
