Entire Dialogue from the Movie Sequence:
Darth Vader: What is thy bidding, my master?
Emperor: There is a great disturbance in the Force.
Darth Vader: I have felt it.
Emperor: We have a new enemy, the young Rebel who destroyed the Death Star. I have no doubt this boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker.
Darth Vader: How is that possible?
Emperor: Search your feelings, Lord Vader. You will know it to be true. He could destroy us.
Darth Vader: He’s just a boy. Obi-Wan can no longer help him.
Emperor: The Force is strong with him. The son of Skywalker must not become a Jedi.
Darth Vader: If he could be turned, he will become a powerful ally.
Emperor: Yes. He would be a great asset. Can it be done?
Darth Vader: He will join us or die, my master.

8/10 Bantha Skulls

I don’t know, maybe I’m easy to please.  I really like this thing.  There’s not much action, but it does the job, and is a great candidate for an exclusive item.

The vader is straightforward, using one of the better sculpts available.  He does what he needs to for this scene - kneel.  He comes with a lightsaber just for fun.  For the kids, you know.

The emperor looks good.  It’s the same translucent blue we’ve seen over and over again, and it works.  There’s no articulation for the Emperor, but there doesn’t need to be any.  In case you were wondering, it is the likeness of Ian McDairmid, not Clive Reville.

The base looks nice, with a cool Imperial Logo in the center.  When the base is separate from the hologram, you push the button and you hear Darth Vader say “What is thy bidding, master.” When you plug it in to the holo, and push the button, you hear the entire dialogue, as stated at the top of this post.  It’s long!  Expect your significant other to do much eye rolling when you start the whole sequence.

When the dialogue is going, both the Imperial logo and the hologram light up nicely.  It will continue through the entire scene, unless you unplug the base from the Emperor.

One thing is that the audio is VERY LOUD!  Want to scare your cat?  Wait until it’s sleeping, quietly slide this bad boy next to it, and push the button.

I don’t have a cat, so I have not tried this.  I’m just sayin’.

It would be nice if there was a volume lever or something.  But that’s just me.
