Interesting concept.  As a fan of the Dark Forces video game from way back, I recall Rom Mohc as the hefty, evil military genius that was behind the Darktrooper development project.  However, the figure is basically some old junk.  Perhaps it’s supposed to be old to remind you of an old video game?  Nah.  Mohc, let’s face it, is a crappy repaint of the ROTS Tarkin figure.  He comes with a large pistol and no holster. Because of this, he’s barely a shadow of the barrel-chested character from the video game.  As the icing on the cake...HIS PANTS ARE ON FRAKKIN’ BACKWARDS!  What a mess.

I’d never heard of IG-97, but I totally dig this figure, at least insofar is that this should be the new standard for a basic Battle Droid.  He’s got a silly head, but it happens to be accurate to the included comic.  The sculpt is excellent - best Battle Droid sculpt so far.  It debuted with the Target Geonosis 2 packs, but I prefer this tan color that is more accurate to the Episode I appearance, in which they were deployed in the crouching position.  I’d love to army build these, so Hasbro, please get on this immediately.  The paint wash/weathering is very good.  He comes with 2 different antennae/backpack devices, and he does a decent job of gripping his weapon.  This is a very good figure.

Overall, Hasbro missed the mark badly on Mohc, but the droid is pretty cool.  Mohc will probably find a spot as a background officer in some OT diorama of mine, and I’ll toss IG-97 into the sandcrawler or something.  As a two pack, I give it a “meh”.
