9/10 Bantha Skulls
I have never read this story arc before, and prior to the other comic release of these two characters, I had never heard of Deena Shan. In my opinion, the outfits are ridiculous on many levels. Not the least of which is the fact that there are rebel insignia all over the “stealth” uniforms.
Nevertheless, putting my lack of EU knowledge aside, these are really excellent figures!
They’re the same design, other than the obvious male/female sculpting differences. The figures are scupted with complete super articulation. Both figure’s weapons fit snugly in their holsters, although a bit loosely in their hands. Luke can grip his lightsaber well. The armor is interesting, and painted with nice detail. The faces are reasonably well done. Deena’s has a nice personality, whereas Luke’s is a bit stoic.
I really like them. They would seem to have a lot of display and play value, so as far as figures go, they are excellent. Although the concept is odd, they make for striking representations in plastic. They may not fit in your movie diormas, but they look great anywhere you might choose to display them. This set gets a big thumbs up from this non-EU fan.
